I don't but they said should the information become public as it is public information or they use it in their investigation, they will release it. I say LEAVE HIM ALONE he's not the first one to make a mistake so stop trying to destroy him.

you know how it is, anything caught on tape is bound to become public. i guess if you behave a certain way in public, you have to live with the consequences. i think the media is always too eager to find any small reason to destroy celebs and that's wrong. but when you live your life in the spotlight, there's not many places to hide.

If it goes to court and he tries to fight it then it will at least be seen by the jury. So in this case if he wants it to stay out of the public eye he should do himself as favor and shut up and just pay the fines do his community service and rehab for real. Remember he has a drinking problem people. Nobody seems to think anything about this, all of you just a bunch of enablers. He said his rehab is some kind of outpatient crap, not even real rehab. Get your problem fixed Mel.

It is a matter of public record, but it is BIG news because society is so voyeuristic. The public feels they have the right to know everything about a public figure. It's sad that being good at their craft means that they have no right to privacy.
I agree that the media and the public should leave him alone.

I don't think it's important... if I had gotten a DUI and made anti-semitic remarks (neither of which would ever happen), the tape wouldn't get released, so why should his tape get released? We all know what happened, or at least what we're being told happened. Besides, it's not a big deal.... he's just another drunk celeb.

No. But I'd lay odds that Nancy Grace will get it. Or Catherine Crier. Crier should be in jail for what she did.
