I'm afraid you'll have to reload everything into your ipod.
Once you do, make a backup folder to store all your music in so if it happens again you don't have to search for it all again. As you add new songs to the ipod remember to add them to the folder as well.
Also, check the settings of the program you use to download music and make sure it is set to manual sync. Automatic synchronization is probably what caused this unfortunate disaster. You want to be able to choose which device and when to use it because it gives the user more control.
For the best backup- burn all your music to CDs so if your computer should ever crash with your backup music folder you won't lose everything again!
If all else fails with your eyepod, get a footpod or an earpod.

Hope this helps and have a great day!!!

while the iPod is plugged into iTunes and you notice it in the left column. spotlight the iPod and click a container that proclaims '? manually handle' From then on , it won't promptly replace songs, you will could desire to drag the songs onto the iPod and after clicking in the song area you could particularly delete records besides. have relaxing

Try checking the Recycle Bin. If the deleted songs are not there, you just have to get those songs again to your ipod.
