humorlesness, repression and a holier-than -though attitude are boring and annoying. i lived in Boulder CO for 6 years before escaping to kauai. the buddhist -yuppie crowd was the most offensive, followed by the "liberals" (of which i'm one but definitely not like them). irksome and self-defeating in my view. but then, i had just come from 21 years in SoCal., mostly north county san diego, where mellow was far more important than correct. and, correctness wasn't really needing to be enforced because we were basically kind folks, anyway.

Yes, but in the sense that it exists at all. I don't apprieciate someone else telling me what I am allowed to say or not. If people would just treat other people the way you want to be treated, then none of this would be necessary, and if you are the type of person who would insult and demean others then the whole idea of being "PC" isn't going to stop you anyways, right?

Yes--intensely! It all started with the feel-good-touchy crowd that wear their feelings on their shoulders and refuse to look life in the eye from a mature standpoint.

I'm just offended when people say "you said that wrong" -- even though they KNOW what I meant. It makes me wonder what the big deal is.

I'll say what I please. If someone doesn't like it, that's their problem.
