Contact a regular forwarding agent in your home country and arrange for shipment on a conference vessel. (Non-conference vessels do not guarantee to reach the port of destination). Ask if you can arrange door-to-door delivery (duty and delivery to Kaduna included). The forwarder's agent in Nigeria will then do customs clearance and arrange either for someone to collect or onward transport (but I recommend collection). True, there are pirates and nothing much moves without "dash" (tips) but the experienced forwarding agent should be capable of managing it all for you.

Depending on your location, you can ship your consignment on a KLM flight to Kano, then have it transferred by road to Kaduna.
