Are people getting more stupid, or have they just been on-line too long and its time to get some sleep and be Fresher tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be easier to just go out and shoot some hoops to get a couple of points? So what if its in the middle of the night, at least you're getting some exercise, and you actually get to use that cool Glow-in-the-Dark Basketball, you "borrowed",.... as if your neighbors are gonna call the police or sumthin rude like that.

Dumb questions and retarded answers are put on here by people who lack the intellect, experience, and/or common sense.
I think some people just want 2 points, why else would they answer a question about which they know nothing. Check out some of the retarded answers I got to my questions. It's obvious that out of all the people that answered, very few even understood the question or what it was about.
I wouldn't say that people are getting more stupid, it's just that they are too lazy to go read and research the things they don't know about. They sit there in front of the computer, deluded with the idea that they're the intelligent life-form on this planet, and then ineptly try to answer and ask questions to which they've never really considered one deep thought.
Sleep doesn't cure ignorance, but sometimes I think it would be nice to put these idiots to sleep.

I'm not sure. Perhaps it's like reality TV- people like to watch other people do stupid, humilating things so they can sit at home and feel superior as they point out how stupid the people on TV are.
As an aside or follow up question- why do people feel the need to make stupid, irrelevant, and insulting comments on questions they don't seem to care about? Is this some sort of prosimian poo-flinging exercise?

I have thought the same thing in the past few days.
I think that most people on here are not smart enough to answer real questions. There ARE some really funny, clever people but they are far outnumbered by the idiots.

In my opinion, the reason is because the dumb questions are the only ones some of these people can answer...If you are not too bright of a person, how could you answer a serious question? Very annoying isn't it?

They can be answered easier! You can be mean with your answer, and get two points! Seems to be all about the points with most peaple and they are to dumb to answer a good question!

I dunno - maybe some people (present company included) have no self control and can't resist answering a dumb question - it's good for stress relief! I think also some people think they are being incredibly whitty ...
