wow 23K-45k!! U can get some really nice cars around that price range! It all depends one what u like, Performance? luxury? Environmental friendly?

If your looking for performance and luxury, then go with a 3 or maybe 4 series BMW. UL get more for your money with a BMW, A Mercedes Benz would also do nicely and be looking to spend anywhere from 27k to 35k.

If your looking for raw performance, I'd go with a Mitsubishi lancer evolution. These babies can go! Corvette and Porsche owners will be scratching there heads in confusion when u leave them in the dust. The best part, is that there fairly cheep for the amount of performance that comes with it. your looking' at 26k to 30k for a car that's worth around 50k when it comes to performance!

Nissan 350z, Subaru WRX, Pontiac GTO, and dodge charger(hemi) are also competitors.

If your looking for a environmental friendly and high gas mileage car then go with a Toyota prius(50-60 miles the gallon) or VW Jetta! (40-MPG)

GOOD LUCK!

Wow...that is a wide open field.....check Edmunds.com to narrow it down. I would suggest looking at the Infiniti G35 and M35 and the Lexus ES350 and IS250. All except the ES350 come with all wheel drive options if that is important to you. If gas mileage is important AND you drive primarily in the city ...very little highway driving, checkout the Lexus RX350 hybrid or the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. If gas mileage is the most important thing, check out the VW Passat diesel. IM me if you'd like further help....

Don't buy the first thing you see. Take your time, and maybe a couple weeks, to test drive different cars from different dealers. Make comparisons and then make a decision. Just don't buy on impulse. Do your homework because it will be your car and you want to be happy with it. Also, don't buy into the tricks the dealers use. Set the tone. You're the customer and you will buy what you want, when you want it. Also, don't let them ask you about payments. You know what you can spend, and that's all they need to know. Good luck!

It really depends on what sort of vehicle you need, but let's say you just want a really nice luxury/sporty sedan. In that case, go drive the Acura TL, the Toyota Avalon, and the lexus ES350.

All are excellent cars with great gas mileage. Good luck.

You could hold out for one of those Smart cars they're finally bringing here from Europe. It will save you some money on gas.
I think that gas will be at least $6 per gallon by 2010.
