Really, no part is more important than another. You need all the components to make a good song. The first thing that gets people listening is the melody and the hook but I think in order to have a great song, the lyrics are the most important piece to concentrate on!

There is no one important component. A song with a great melody may have awful lyrics. Great lyricists may write terrible melodies. Some writers are good at form and how a song flows. Some are good at writing riffs. Some are great at arranging songs and finding certain creative timbres. No component clearly outweighs any of the others. Listeners connect with the song as a whole, not the individual components isolated.

a well synchronised rhythm. I love it. If I'm listening to a some music and there is a good precise rhythm i just get so happy!?!? Like Franz Ferdinand Take me out, I love that song for that reason. And of course Johnny Cash Get Rhythm.

The melody is the main ingredient of a song. Then comes harmony to harmonize with the melody.

in my opinion, it's lyrics intertwined with music (melody).
the chorus is also important too. it's the part of the song that gets stuck in people's head. it's the part of the song that people remember most.

The music!! If the music isn't good then the song isn't good. You need a strong melody and good chords to make a great song.

Melody and chord structure.
They hold the attention far more than percussion, bassline or lyrics, even.

One cannot create without chord structure.
Then the melody notes.
