I'd say it depends on the shape of your face and texture of your hair. Some look good with a clean cut military-ish style and others look really good with a longer shaggier look. I've seen some that can carry a long hair style and make it look sexy but not everyone can.
I would ask a professional (female) hair stylist.

I like their hair to be either short or a little bit long/shaggy.
Not touching their shoulders..but on some guys that looks good.
It all depends on the guy.

Natural, no artificial colors, no hair products, especially no grease (ew!). Not too short, not too long. A bit curly.

for me i like a guy with hair on his head layered is my favorite. length till the end of his ears makes a guy look so sexy.. this style appeals so much to me dono y?
