I find they are too prone to bite.
They are nocturnal so why bother

I don't like them more then any other pet but I like them just as much!!! I used to have a white dwarf hamster named Chubbs!! He died in his wheel :(!! Hamsters are great pets!! They are adorable, low maintenance and attract a lot of attention! RIP Chubbs!

Not me. In fact, I prefer almost any small animal more than a hamster.

Gerbils, mice, and rats are all more social and active than hamsters. Rabbits and guinea pigs are larger and easy to hold.

I don't like them, many hamsters bite compared to other small animals. I personally like pet rats, they are mostly tame, very friendly, intelligent and make cute lil chitters, lol.

actually i dont like our hamster very much.Its soft and pretty but it bites so no one picks it up. Rats are much nicer. when this thing dies(which it never will) we will go back to rats. They are sweet, intelligent, and friendly. just my opinion. you asked.

i had a black bear hamster named blackberry but she didnt like me or anyone so im gonna say that hamsters arent my thing at the moment i like ferrets!!!!!

They are really cute and tiny and furry and they don't take alot of food or water and aren't hard to care for..easy to clean up after
