why is it that every time something comes up with the world its bushes fault, or their is some conspiracy involving bush. now don't get me wrong I am not some hardcore bush supporter, but come on seriously you think that bush isn't doing anything because his wife is like 1/16 Jew ? you have to be smoking crack! you don't think we have enough problems in the world now with Iraq and Afghanistan. the way I see it Israel is doing us a favor by taking care of Hezbollah for us. because lets face it it was only a matter of time before we had to eliminate those terrorist bastards. did you know that Hezbollah started the whole suicide bomber thing? why don't you go look up what happened in Beirut, where over 200 of American solders were killed by a Hezbollah suicide bomber.
payback time B!^ches

Laura Welch Busch's lineage is clearly shown back as far as the year 1850 on Yahoo under "laura bush lineage". There is no indication that she had any Jewish ancestors. (what difference shlould that make anyway?) You are clearly asking your "question" because you feel some opposition to the President. I suggest that you have no valid reason, know very little about American government and politics or the Bushes, and that you should study your subject before you open your mouth.

I don't know about Mrs. Bush being Jewish or not but either way I am sure that isn't the reason that we are "letting" Israel do what they are doing.
Israel is it's own country why should we tell them not to fight back against Hezbollah? Why shouldn't we help them?

No, she isn't. But that would not be what drives our foreign policy anyway. The US co-founded the UN, and was a strong backer of creating the nation of Israel in their traditional homeland in the then-British protectorate of TransJordan, where there was a significant Jewish population.
The US has always supported Israel since its modern foundation. Even anti-Semitic twits like Carter or bumbling fools like Clinton have supported Israel.

It really doesn't matter if she is or not. The US has backed Israel since they took the land back and became a nations again. This is not something new. Israel is the Biblical homeland of the Jews and rightly so. I am behind them 100%. You may not be but in the end God will decide.

I have never heared that Laura Bush is of Jewish descent, but even if she was it would not make the slightest bit of difference in US foreign policies.
It would be political suicide for an American politician (important ones, that is...) to appear anything but 100% friendly to Israel. Only friendly criticism is allowed.

Actually the support of Israel began long before the Bush administration.

LAURAL, and the rest of you who gave neg. responses, you better watch out, because if you dont agree with Mona, or give her neg. answers like you just did,she will become some bad disease in your mailbox, because she expects everyone to agree with everything she says, but, how could we, with such little knowledge that she goes on.?????
As for your question, knowing what Laura's maiden name is, and some of her background, (find out for yourself, I know you will) NO, shes not from Jewish decent. Our President directly said to "the people" that we would support Israel "Diplomatically", as they need to fight their own battles... As they are quite capable to do so, as they are well equipped, with the man power.
The real reason why you get on here and post all these political questions, is really for education, isnt it??? lol
