I sort of lost interest in Christmas when I learned the truth about the holiday ... if you ask most people what is the "real meaning of Christmas" they give you some storey about Jesus and stuff but if you really really look into it this is not correct at all - Christmas existed long before and the Christians tried to erase the original holiday by plopping their day over top of traditional celebrations that went on for generations earlier
Astronomers have proven Christ was actually born in March
Christmas was actually a holiday known as Saturnalia and pretty much everything done now is from that holiday (or earlier varriations from different countries), including the christmas tree - its time we take the Christ out of Christmas because this is a lie

I'm always looking forward to Christmas. My all time favourite time of the year ever.
Everyone in a good mood, loads of socialising, loads of drinking, eating nice food, seeing friends, family, getting and giving presents, time off work.
I even love doing the shopping, wrapping prezzies, the lame Crimbo tv, decorating the tree, the cold crisp mornings and scraping the ice of my car.
Roll of December - I'm excited now!

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year, as my son is almost 10 month's old, and it will be his first proper christmas, as last year he was only a newborn baby still, this is for children now, being a parent for the first time will be really exciting watching them unwrap, and enjoyment on there faces!

I'm looking forward to seeing my family and going to church, but I'm not looking forward to the constant pressure to buy all these presents for people. Christmas is too commercialised and I have friends of different religions still buying presents etc. which doesn't make sense to me, why celebrate the birth of the son of God if you don't believe that Jesus is the son of God.

No, summers too good to want to wish forward .... I'll be having an extended summer with 3 weeks in Fiji in October ......
Anything to prolongue the onslaught of the wretched winter, which I hate.
Sure x-mas is fun, and I enjoy it, but then there's January and Febuary, which are depressing, dark months

Made my list and am checking it off already. I figure if I buy 5 gifts a month until then I won't be broke during the season. Also no credit card fees.

why does everyone hate christmas so much!?
It's the money! I hate that christmas has to be all about money now cos it's not like that for me. Christmas is about family and fun, the songs, and films! It shouldn't be about money, just a shame it is
