I am a male westerner going to teach In Bahrain at MKS, What can expect but the big question: Is there football (soccer) there so I can play and or watch higher levels. I known there is a national team but do they have adult leauges like here in New York State, and youth leauges that I might be able to coach as I have for the past years here in the states? Last part of this question, are the electronics expensive there (lap tops/notebooks)?

well if you will teach in international school then it will be fine..but if you teach in government school you might excpect questions which will make you hate the language

as for the electronics.....according to where you are from ...forexample i am from Egypt and i am now in gedda for the holiday...the electronics are way cheaper
but if you are from Europe or USa....there is no big difference between the money there and bahrain

soccer: there is soccer there....bahrain was going to qualify for the worldcup...but they lost their last match

as for the leagues..there are leagues for all that part...saudi bahrain ...etc..but i dont think they are that good

Bahrain isn't very bad at soccer. They missed out on a place in Germany by a nose, losing the play-off to Trinidad and Tobago.

They have their own leagues and you'll get plenty of action with the various AFC (Asian Football Confed) Cups and the Asian Games in Doha, in December. Plus there are qualifiers for the Asian Cup next year.

Not advisable to by electronics in the Mid-East, as the natives themselves buy them from other Asian cities, like Singapore or KL.

Finally, for a person who is going to teach English, you seem to have very bad grammar.

They play soccer there, they have a league for adults. The electronics are cheaper than they are in Japan and they have youth leagues. Reason why they don't get far is because of the heat which inhibits their training. They are very interesting people, you'll like them.
