What is with all the questions about Gays? and why are so many people against it? Other then "god says it bad" what is truely your problems, its not like they are asking everyone to be gay and they aren't bothering or hurting anymore. Its not a choice they make, it who they are. Its like having autism when your a kid and then being penilized your whole life because of something you can't control. So if you want to talk about morals I think a lot of you should back of.

I agree with you. I'm not religious, and I don't like people forcing their views and opinions on me and others. I understand that everyone has their own opinions, but everyone seems to use "God" as a buzzword for inciting hatred. "God says gays are bad! Nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh!"

There are a lot of things wrong with this world, and a lot of people we should actively dislike, e.g. paedophiles, rapists and killers. Why are homosexuals being lumped in with this calibre of people? Most homosexuals are law-abiding citizens just trying to get on with their lives. So what if their partner happens to be of the same gender as them? Both they and their partner feel this way, and have some form of union, just as with heterosexual people. Homosexuality is not a crime, it is not a disease, and it is not something we should keep going on about. Homophobia's like the new racism on here, it's just ludicrous. Let people live!!!

That's just it. Everyone has a difference of opinions on almost every topic. I once had some ask, "why is that person such an idiot". I responded by saying, " are they an idiot because they did not do something your way?" Society tends to have the nerve to seperate the ideas, belief or faith of anyone who beg to differ from their train of thoughts. They claim freedom of speech, yet when you disagree with someone of authority such as a police officer, you are charged with resisting arrest, or how about freedom of choice, now they want to belittle someone because of sexual preferences. Those that scream because God say so, should focus more on continuation of having God mention throughout the school system and so forth, not ones sexuality.
I am so glad I grew up in a household, that is African American, yet we were not taught to discriminate against anyone that is different, although we were discriminated against. Can't change everyone, just change who you are.

well said. My theory is the people who speak out the loudest against gays are those that are most afraid of it. People fear what they don't understand rather than try to make the effort to educate themselves. They're closing off a whole big section of society and denying themselves probably some of the best friends in the whole world

I believe for the most part people are afraid of differences. I don't think it should be as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. Personally, I am against it because of my religion. but that's me. I have friends and family members who are gay. i still love them. also I don't think it should be compared with a disorder as you have put it. some people may be offened by that. but it is a choice--and we all have a right to choose. whether it is right or wrong.

I see your point. If all you see is that your lowercase "god" says it's bad, then you have a right to be confused.

When your sense of god becomes God, who then becomes Lord who then becomes your Father... then by the gift of His Holy Spirit it does makes sense.

Gay is a violation is His designed order. But so is autism.

Sin, sickness, pain and sadness... none of this was supposed to be in His original creation. But then - DANG IT! - it was messed up.

I love lesbians too!

I just feel sad for all who live outside the will of God in their lives.

What do you mean, "Other than God says" , If God says its wrong, its wrong, And yes it is a choice they make, They are not born that way. All sin can be controlled with the help of God, the problem comes when we enjoy the problem more then we enjoy obeying God. (Please note I did say WE enjoy the problem) not just a few.

My opinion is this. There are some here that just want to pick a argument and mentioning their dislike of the practice of homosexuality gets homosexuals to answer. However, homosexuals also mention their belief that they are right. When they do that....look out. Most of us don't approve of homosexual behavior.

people are ignorant on many issues....ur never gonna find somebody who feels exactly the way you do....the people who penalize gays and families with autistic children etc. always seem unhappy about something in their life so they need to make other people look worse than they are...even if its not true

I agree.
No one ever has anything to say about my sexuality. (I'm straight) It's just fear. Most of the time the person making the biggest fuss about gay people is the person most unhappy with their own sexuality.
