I have heard mixed reviews on getting the ducts clean.
I built a new house and while you would think that would mean less dust, it actually does not because they did not cover the vents when they built my house.

Anyway, you can't eliminate dust, but you can lessen it by changing air filters monthly and dusting with products (like electrastatic cloths) that lock in dust rather than just spreading it back into the air. Vacuum a lot.

If you have an allergy concern, having wood/tile floors and limited window curtains is suppose to help alot. Fabric pulls things in.

Not completely, but there are ways to lessen it.

Use an air cleaner.

Clean or change the filters in your heating and AC on a regular basis.

Clean the filters in your dryer after every use.

Use a damp cloth or some sprays when you dust so the dust won't be kicked back into the air.

Don't use carpet. But if you want something soft on the floor, use area rugs that you can wash.

Vacuum frequently, and make sure to change the bag or empty the container when it's needed.

Good luck!

NO!!!!!! not 100 %

only the boy in a plastic bubble has that luxury!!

House 0- vs Dust-10= wins!!
Even Filters don't stop it just temps removes it.
just keep on it with a pre treated dusting rag & keep openings closed & sealed off but theres always a soarse within like insulation & material matters that provides it too!

lil dirt dont hurt!!

not completely, since dust is made up of dead skin cells that are continuelly flaking off of people and/or animals. you could try a allergen filter in your A/C unit (filters out stuff much better) and dusting and vacuuming more. It also seems to be harder to keep the dust and dirt down if you have carpet... Hope this is helpful.
