First off, I am a middle of the road bi-partisan. I lean right on some issues, I lean left on others. For me it is about an issue than a man. That said...

Michael Moore is a creative man that can lead a bunch of fools off of a cliff.

About me as well, I am a very well paid (has to do with talent... not to show ego here just that I know what I talk about when it comes to film making) successful film editor in Hollywood. I say this do to the fact of how I am trained to manipulate human emotion. Michael Moore's films have been for me a true example of leading questions, manipulation, and overhanded sway to be part of the gang because if you are not.... well then.... hmmmm something is wrong with you. Having said this... I would not have a problem if he marketed his stuff as an Opinon piece and not a documentary.

When I watched 9/11 in the theaters, at the end... half of people booed, half cheered. I will always remember the old man behind me saying to the people booing. "Why are they here if they are going to boo, they should go home and shut up. Stupid Republicans." I found his statement to sum up what is all so wrong with both sides. So narrow minded, that if it doesn't wash with their thinking even if truth, they will dismiss it casually, either by downplaying it or not believing it at all. If we could all just pay attention and not get feed. Someone once said that the true act of genius was to hold an argument within your head and have the ability to debate both sides equally. I will always remember that man. Both sides need to know what the other is thinking and be open to that their side might be wrong.

Short answer. Michael Moore is an a$$ for purporting to be investigative when it is his leading the masses though his editing and storytelling on film.

I cannot stand the fat slob. He is one of those people that I would like to tell "If you don't like it here then move to somewhere else". I really find it amusing all these people that say "well I would have handled it this way..." when they are talking about G W Bush and 9-11. But they were not the president during that awful time period and they cannot say that they would have done any different. Moore has been on a path of trying to destroy Pres Bush since day one and I wonder if there isn't a hidden agenda there. He is a creep.

I'm personally glad there are people out there like Michael Moore. He puts the facts out there for you to decide upon. He makes us THINK. So many of us, go through life blinded by our ignorance. Not to say that people are stupid, just not informed. For some of us, its easier to believe that things are just how they announce them on the news, that there isn't another version.
Because of people like Michael Moore, people react. Some people have the ability to take the initiative and run with the ball. Helping us all, by bringing more light to the things we might not be aware of, and involving people in change.
Michael Moore has made a lot of us uncomfortable at times with the focus he brings to subjects we would rather not think about, but he does make us think. The decision to ultimately react is still up to us.

I really think there is a place for him in America and he's good at what he does. I preferred "Bowling for Columbine" to "911" because it seemed to have a lot more facts and a lot less propaganda. Even if 911 was only 90% true, as many conservatives say, that's an awful lot of true and horrible things in there that ARE true.

I believe that Michael Moore sincerely feels personally connected to his work. I live north of Flint and I think he shows an accurate view of his hometown.

A typical liberal - more interested in what "sounds about right" or in telling a story from a particular angle than an in being honest and truthful... He's all about hating the President and stopping at nothing to try to make him look bad. In doing so, he has forfeited any credibility and is now merely a mouthpiece, like so many other angry, frustrated, delusional liberals, for the left wing who love to find all sorts of ways to be negative about everything.

It just eats up the fanatics that Michael Moore has been proven right on all accounts. Now they have nothing left but to attack him personally to cover for the fact they were totally wrong.

Seen several films like 9/11 Fahrenheit and Bowling for Columbine. May be a bit to much, but the intentions are good. Start up a discussion and open up the eyes of many people.

First of all it is Michael Moore. I don't particularly like or dislike him but I appreciate that he is trying to make a difference in the world.

I think Michael Moore is a tool and a manipulator.
But we live in a country where there is free speech, so he has every right to be a jerk. Hope he appreciates it.
