I'm Moving to Denver, hopefully, however I cannot find an apartment I can afford. Can anyone help me.

I am moveing to Denver but I cannot find a cheap apartment. I am alos willing to look outside city limits. my job is is Englewood i would hope to be close to there

Look south in parker or castlerock. Or north in commerce city or louisville. If you are looking only in the denver city limits, cheap does not exist.

The rush-hour commute from parker to englewood is not too bad if you take the back roads (i.e. NOT I-25, unless Trex improved it after I moved). Check out Lonetree. It is more expensive, but a much easier commute. There are also some apartments that were recently built between centennial & parker, west of I 25 in the last few years. I think those are cheaper than average.

Have you considered a college roommate? Also, don't take everything you own until you have a room. Any chance, you can put it in storage and return later to pick it up or have a family member arrange transport after you have moved in?
Pull up the Denver newspaper and access their classifieds.
