Okay, well since my morals are based on ethics and secular authority, rather than sacred authority, the answer can only be violence. Violence is harming someone else, often intentionally, which is utterly unforgivable.

Homosexuality is not harming anyone. Both individuals are consenting adults, there is no perversion involved e.g. in paedophilia. It's a lifestyle choice, not a moral offence.

Violence is a moral offence, homosexuality is not.

What a stupid question! Violence is almost always immorality. Gay sex, however, (as long as it is between consenting partners) is either just sex or an expression of love. What is immoral about that?

The immorality of the situation comes in when bigoted bible-thumpers try to assign a negative context to gay sex and deem its participants deviants. Members of the gay community are people--no better/no worse. And as such they deserve to be treated like everyone else, which includes giving them the right not just to have sex but to marry.

From a moral standpoint gay sex as the Bible states in the old testiment "an eye for an eye". No where will you find in the Bible that gay sex is acceptable.

P.S. A lot of you need to look up the meaning of morality before answering.

All sins have an equal weight, in the ten commandments it says thou shalt not kill, because back then any act of violence resulted in death or near death, but also, the Bible does describe homosexuality as an abomination unto God. so if i have to make a decision i would say both are equally questionable on the basis of morality. People read your Bible more you say gay sex isn't hurting anyone, but you do realize God burned a whole city because of homosexuality.

Commiting violence since there is nothing at all wrong with gay sex. I'm not gay personally but I think people should be shot for gay hate crimes and comments they make. It not fair.

Violence. Because it harms someone else. Homosexuality between consenting adults by itself harms no one (though, of course, if it does or is done with the intention of doing so, then that is different).

'Gay sex' - or rather love for another person expressed sexually - tends to be a good thing rather than a bad thing because it contains the opposite of a wish to harm.

Committing violence is worse, assuming the gay sex is consensual.
