If I were old enough (born in the 1920s maybe) I could tell you exactly what the world would be like without Israel. Israel, as it exists today, was created after World War II. Since World War I, Palestine (which is what it was called for several centuries) was a part of the British Empire. Before that it was a part of the Ottoman Empire. Before that...well, you get the idea.
If I had to guess, I would think that the world would be a lot like history tells us it was before WW II. Anti-Semitism was not the rampant force in the Middle East that it is now. In fact, many Jews fled Europe and moved to various Middle Eastern countries (including Palestine) in order to avoid the persecution of the Nazis and other more subtle Anti-Semites. It was European guilt over the Holocaust which caused Great Britain to turn Palestine over to the Jews (when the UN told them that they had to give up 'some' of their vast empire to the residents of those countries.)
My vision of a world without Israel, of course, is based on the idea that none of that had happpened. It did. Therefore, I believe, that if Israel were to 'no longer exist,' there would be little difference in the world today. The events that have occurred in the interim make it impossible to go back to the way it was.
You can't unring a bell.

This might have been the case if the British Uganda Program has been adopted and followed up with in 1903. It actually passed the Zionist Congress, looking for a homeland, but abandoned as they later believed that it was too dangerous with the wildlife there. I would suspect that if the British had a greater desire to avoid conflict with the Ottoman Empire that they might have offered guarantees to maintain the safety of Jewish immigrants into British East Africa and the settlements created.
It would be hard to tell what would happen after that as the effects of World War I might have altered the Ottoman Empire's territory in a different way without the Balfour Declaration in place. At least it would have been a more peaceful part of the world.

It is a tragedy when any nation falls. Even if it is corrupt because of the loss of life, and hardship of any survivors. The loss of a culture to the world. What gifts, beauty, wisdom, understanding of their piece of the puzzle of truth that nation holds... lost forever. Many Native American nations are extinct. Did that stop the U.S. from still destroying what remains of Native peoples culture, language and religion today? No. Would the loss of Israel bring peace to the middle east? No. Why? because of the childish jealousies that still would remain among the rest of the middle east countries over who's messiah or prophet is true. They, no more than the US, don't realize that there is no ONE chosen nation. We are all chosen for we are one race. The human race, and therefore one nation. As spiritual beings we are one with God. As leaves on the tree are one with the tree, yet do not themselves make a tree. This is how Jesus was able to say I and the Father are one and not blaspheme.
Nuff said!
Peace :)

It would be similar except that there would be relative pease in the Middle East. Warring factions would still exist in the region but Israel not existing would have no effect on the turmoil in Asia or Africa.

The earth without Israel will be poor place indeed. That we allowed terrorism to win the day. If Israel goes to the wall, Western Civilization will not survive.

It be much more peaceful, possibly. I don't know what America would spend all the money on, that it uses to fund the Israeli war machine, though.
