about a week it will be size of lemon in a fortnightat least the size of a football. non fertile ones simply don't grow.

After pollination the size of fruit starts to develope and after a fortnight you can pick it to consume or u can wait if you want to increase its size.

the female flower usually has a 'bulge' straight away
mine has had mini pumpkins right away that then dropped off as probably were not fertilized?
rammed a male flower in the other day, will go check and see if the flower has 'taken'....
