Just herd them out the door. Actually they are harmless but if you really want to get rid of them go to the store and you will find a spider and ant killer that you spread around and it kills them. Just remember the old saying, "If you wish to live and thrive, let the spider go alive."

Used to play with them as a kid.

I have lots OUTSIDE the house and they are my friends. My garden spiders guard my flowers and keep them growing nicely instead of eaten to shreds. The Daddies are eating something. Mites perhaps. Or other small insects that are small enough to escape your notice. Get rid of the spiders and you will be knee deep with mites and other pesky critters. Leave them be.

If they are inside, than you can kill them and whatever they are eating with an over the counter fogger. Its works best the first time you use it. After that they build up an immunity.

You Can't. I read somewhere recently that there are 2 million spiders for every square mile of land in the UK.

visit this website. if you have them in the house, it may be too damp, although i've seen them in my house and it's not damp.
I would suggest the reason you have no other bugs is because the DL's are eating them.
Also - it's a myth that they are poisoness, they are not at all - perfectly harmless.

I don't. They can't hurt you, and they eat other nastier bugs like mosquitoes!
