HELP.....this is our first birthday together, and i really have been stumped with the most perfect way to give her the BEST ONE EVER!!!! I guess you'd need to know a lil bit about her and how special she is.... she was dignosed with a brain tumor right when we first meet, and was HEALED!!! Then a year ago she was assulted by a @$!@%^%% terd!!!!!!!!!!! So needless to say in 1 years time she has been through HELL and i have only grown to fall in LOVE with this beautiful woman!!!! THOUGHTS, IDEAS, SUGGESTIONS, MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

I'd say take a nice vacation together, and I don't mean something expensive, but somewhere were she's wanted to go that's close by. So far it sounds like she's had a hard knock life, so do something for her that makes her laugh, smile, cry for joy, and just makes her enjoy every moment with you. Think about her hobbies, and do something enhances that hobby to 10th power. And always remember, us lesbians (or shall I say all women) feel that what is written in a card is probably more important than any gift. Have fun, and Good Luck. Congratulations!!!!

It sounds like you have given here the greatest gift of all. you love and devotion. Most would have not stuck around through such trying periods in life. Thank you for doing so.
I'm going to suggest giving her the gift of life. Do this through symbolism. Give her a new kitten, puppy or other pet. If you can not have a pet for some reason. Maybe go to your local zoo and adopt an animal there.

How about take her out for a nice romantic dinner, followed by a stay in a hotel... Maybe also give her a day at the spa so she can have some nice relaxation as well.
