Get yourself some long rope

Make sure the washing machine is comp empty of clothes and water

spray some fary liquid or similar over the floor wher you will be pulling out the old one...try and get the liquid right under it

slide the machine out and disconnect the water and ellectrics...make sure the water supllys are off!

Slid the new one in as much as you can and reconnect....try it before pushing it all the way in

Use the rope under the machine and with 2 strong people you should be able to carry it

use sack wheels or other trolly as soon as you can get to it.

YOu may have some TRANSPORTER bolts for your machine...use them to stop the drum bouncing about too much !!

If you are buying a new one, the company that you are purschasing it from usually take the old one out for free. The refurbish it and resell it. If you no longer want one then get a pully and load it on and have some one help you guide it up the stairs and out the house. By the way if you buy from homedepot/sears they will remove the old one, and hook up the new one.

Depends on how far the houses are apart and if you can find two good strong men to carry it. If not, you can do it with a two wheel dolly.

If you are transporting it yourself, you need a hand truck. Otherwise, pay a moving company.
