ihave aolder computer that uses afloppy disk to boot with but the boot disk is acd rom disk and i need to reformat anew hard drive in order to put windows 98 on it because it wont boot from cd

From a Windows 98 machine
Click Start
Point to Settings and click Control Panel
Click Add/Remove Programs
Click the Startup Disk tab
Click the Create Disk button (Make sure a formated Floppy is there)
When finished, click OK to exit the Add/Remove Programs Properties dialog box

You can go to http://www.bootdisk.com and create a boot floppy or boot CD. Is that what you are looking for??
