we've been nudists for years and find everyone in the lifestyle to be more caring, loving and forgiving than society in general, so why would it be judged as "evil"?

Nudity is generally considered to be related
with sex.

Sex bring out emotions in everyone.
Since the vast majority of humans are religous,
and almost ALL religons condemn illicit sex
nudity is frowned upon in public.

A person who is in a nudist camp looks at a penis as
a body organ.
A person who is not part of the group looks at a penis as a sex object....

Where I live, it is completely impractical at any time of year. And when summer comes, and the tourists show up in their abbreviated costumes,. with rolls of fat wobbling all over the place, it's enough to make a nudist weep.

Some people are very uncomfortable with nudity because we're conditioned to keep covered.

It's our puritan roots. The US is quite prudish compared to other nations.

Europe is much more 'real', especially about nudity.
