Rivita and fruit. Cut out the main meals of the day and snack on them for two weeks. Try power walking to music and holding your body from the center and standing tall. It makes you feel better. Dance around the house and laugh. Once the two weeks are over, just think of the amount you eat to what you are doing. If you take in more food than you need work it off with a good walk with your favorite music. Works for me and I've been doing this for twenty years. Good luck

try gentle exersise 30 mins a day, at the least run up and down stairs 10 times a day. eat six snacks a day instead of three meals, this increases your metabalism burning more calories, thus loosing weight,this is long term not just short term.

easy stop eating so much, and drink water when you want food.
the only gland trouble fat people get is the gland an inch below the nose....the mouth.
if you eat less, drink more water and try some walking outside everyday you will loose weight.

eat healthy and exercise, avoid complex carbohydrates such as bread, potatoes, pasta and rice, and eat lots of fruit and veg, drink plenty of water, and exercise three times a week, try exercising first thing in the morning before breakfast as during exercise the body will normally use carbohydrate as fuel for energy, but if you have not eaten it will use fat stores, after exercising make sure you have a banana and water or something that will release energy slowly.

You need to eat right and excercise! Although people don't want to acknowledge it, it does take time to gain weight. And it takes more time to take it off. Everyone wants a quick fix and it doesn't exist. You need to drink water, eat fruits and vegetables, excercise and be patient the weight will come back off.

Everything in moderation, walk up stairs instead of taking the lift, change the butter you use for low fat stuff, eat less bread and pasta stuff, and buy some bigger pants if all else fails! ;-)
