Michael Connelly. All his books are good thrillers, especially the Harry Bosch Novels.

Michael Crichton, Clive Cussler, John Grisham, and Vince Flynn are all excellent authors who write thrillers. Flynn's books are political thrillers, and Cussler's are maritime thrillers, but once you pick them up, you can't put them down.

I don't know exactly what kind of thriller you like, but James Patterson's Alex Cross series always has me on the edge of my seat. It's great! Hope you enjoy!

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. It's a bit Sci-Fi, but it sucks you in. I also like Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris.

Start with James Ellroy's "L.A. Quartet." The first book is "The Black Dahlia," and it transcends your typical crime thriller. All of Ellroy's books do, for that matter.
