How is their QB postion solid? McNair? Are you crazy? I think Vegas is taking bets on which week he will get injured. Seriously beyond that postion I would pretty much agree. Not sure if they can make the playoffs though. The AFC is just so tough, so many good teams. You can't be moderate and make the playoffs in the AFC, unlike the NFC which has been a joke lately as far as the teams that get in. Sure the NFC they do good once they get in the Playoffs but you could easily argue that they didn't belong there in the first place, sometimes it is like the first REAL game that they play against an NFC opponent. Oh wait we are talking about the Ravens and the playoffs sorry got sidetracked. Anyway give them a good QB and they have a chance, although very tough. If Palmer is healthy you are talking about 2 tough games against the Bengals,. and the 2 tough games against the Steelers. Ravens are a tough physical team I know but tough division to face. I tell you looking at their schedule it will be a rough year for them. I say they won't make the playoffs.

No, they won't. They'll finish third in the AFC North.
McNair five years ago would have been a good addition, but a beaten-up McNair taking the abuse behind a dilapidated line in Tennessee for eons is barely any better than Boller.

IF (and that's a big if) Steve McNair stays healthy AND assuming he has something left in the tank, then they have a shot. But if they ever have to go back to Kyle Boller, Brian Billick will be cleaning out his desk come January.

I hope so, but I doubt it. I'm losing faith in the coaching.
McNair is not necessarily the answer, but he is a serviceable QB. If we don't do anything offensively this year, it's time to replace the coaching staff.
