Do you know what part of the US you want to practice at? If you do, you should be able to locate the health organizations in that area via the i'net. Do you work for an health organization that has connections in the US? If they don't, you may want to find out if there is one in the Netherlands that does. Use all your resources.

The US sucks, don't go there.

Australia is currently recruiting doctors. Come over here and live in a beautiful country, with perfect weather, great people and a very low crime rate.

You will get paid a lot of money, live in a beautiful house and get to meet great men like me.

Yes you can go and work in America (contact the embassy re. jobs or try and find a local agency that help find job in America). There is a very good chance that you will get paid very very well in america (in the right sector), BUT please be aware the cost of living, fuel (you have the 'heater' on all year around as a heater then as an air con), health care costs etc etc etc. so add up all the pros and cons before you jump.

Your best bet is to decide on a few different states, and contact some of the hosptials affiliated with Universities. They will further instruct you on any training and licensing that you will have to do once you are in the U.S.
The pay is probably better here.

The best way you can do it is by aking the question on the U.S. Yahoo Answers, and not the U.K. one.
