Uh...you better check out other causes, too.

I will have to place the blame on you and "Gore the Bore" unless your cars are for sale and parked and you all are riding the bus, taking the train or flying to work on your helicopter. Of course these too are very big polluters unless the ridership is at capacity, which of course in most cities, it is not.
When you sell your car you do have the option to buy an electric car which will run with a battery for 2-3 hours before needing a charge...
When you plug it in for a charge you will be drawing your power from one of the biggest polluters, you friendly smiling power company, that in 97% of the cities is using fossil fuels.
Why don't you and Gore the Bore just face it, global warming is cyclic and you are in the up part of the cycle. A cycle that has recycled many times since the earth has been spinning and rotating, about 4.5 billion years ago.[all without the interference of man]
If you wait for a few hundred or thousand years you will find the the glacier melt water will stop the flow of the ENE northern flow of our gulf stream and PRESTO the cycle will start to reverse once again. Oh yes and you and Gore will have had nothing to do with it...
You experts need to read some science before making complete fools of yourself....

There are a ton more responsible than auto's. Refining, construction vehicles, power production. Have you ever thought about our concrete highways being blacktopped over> Think about the amount of heat generated (absorbed during the day and given off at night) from their surface that is increasing in amount every day. It's not just greenhouse gases causing global warming.
Too many causes... too little intellect on this planet!!!

Last time I looked, my Hummer didn't seem to be emitting as much stuff out the pipe as my local steel company sends up their stack - better go for a quick spin around the block to double check!!

I do not. Read "State of Fear" by Michael Chrichton, even though it's a work of fiction it showed me a different persective of global warming.

There is more to it than that. Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go drive around by myself for a while.
