Before the days of Call-Display...Prank Calls were common to Business & Private Individuals ( esp'y with funny names, such as Harry Bush, etc. )
Unwary Grocery Stores employees were asked Q's such as:
Do You have Robin Hood...by the Bag? ( after they searched & came back to the phone to verify...they were greeted with laughter and " Well...Why Don't You Let Him Go? )...Similar one was, Do You Have Aunt Jemima...by the Box?
A Call to a Chinese Restaurant: Is Wing there?...Okay then, Is Wong there?...No?...Sorry, I musta Wing da Wong Number!
Just curious to hear about other Prank Lines that people have used!

we used to call bowling alley's and asked if they had 10 lb. balls! Of course being 13 at the time - my sister and I thought we were quite hilarious!

Maybe passe now, but some used to call a tobacco store and ask, "Do you have Prince Albert in a can?" And the advice following the response was, "Well, let him out."
Little amuses the innocent, huh?

my stupid son and stepson was doing this one night and called the hardware store and asked the guy what color caulk did he have and is ok to put caulk in yr mouth.......doofuses *grin*
