My wife is having very heavy bleeding than the normal and after every month or two her HB level dropes to 6 . I have consulted to the gynaecologist but all could not find any proper solution but one said to have a medical check up fom the ENT specailist.
I just want to ask that is it due to imbalance in the hormone or is this related to some blood disease or what is this plz answer.

i too have heavy and frequent bleeding. i am on my period more often then not. my gynecologist on several occasion, ran some blood work, thinking i may be low on estrogen, or something to that nature...but i wasn't. it's just mother nature. it may not be so normal....but it does happen. i've been going through this since i was 15, and now i'm in my early 30's. but after i had my second child....it's gotten a bit worse. i just saw my gynecologist this past week, and she set me up to have an 'endometrial ablation' done...which can be considered an alternative to have a hysterectomy done. the procedure is not serious...it's an in and out patient thing...and you can still have children of course. but this is the last resort for me. your wife can try something like this, or some form of birth control (if she's not already on one), like the pill or patch. that should decrease the flow.
good luck!
