With women, most (but not all) claim that size does not matter, so is this the majority mindset with gay men as well? I am not gay – nor do I have like some hidden insecurity with my own size. It is just that a minute ago, while reading a response on here from a guy who said he was gay around a similar topic sparked this question – so where else is a better place to get an answer then here! ^_^

I am what most want something of average size maybe a little larger. I guess that can range from abotu 5 1/2 to abotu 8. After 8 most will tell you it starts to hurt and can be too much.

Most under 5 1/2 have self esteem problems and feel inadaquate, and I can also tell you those over the 8 inch mark can have a different set of problems. The can get too big to where most people can't enjoy being with them. I know one guy 10 inches and most guys pretty much won't bottom for him. So he does with out a lot of the time.

There are always exceptions to the rule. We call them size queens but they are in the minority.

You have to understand that all gays don't like anal sex. Some are just into oral, jacking off or massages. Some are strictly the penetrators (we call them tops). A bottom is gay that likes to be on the receiving end. Lastly, a versatile likes to top and bottom.

When I bottom, I do like some size. We don't have a clitoris down there, so it is all about the pleasure of feeling a top inside us. If a top knows how to work his tool well and is just a great lover all around, size is not as important. But someone with a little tool just does not cut it - not if they want to top! A top needs some meat down there to do the job right. At a minimum, I would say a top should be slightly larger than average. A top does not have to have the largest one out there to be acceptable. Because too big can be too much. Especially if it takes him forever to climax! But size is definately welcome and important.

Some yes, some no. Presumably the same as women. Thing is, they'll never tell a straight man if they DO have feelings about size; if only because of gender socialization (ie they're not supposed to have opinions on such things; makes them seem shallow whereas men can be shallow as all get out and they're just "being men").
Honestly, I've probably talked to more people who ARE into size than not, but...we'll call it 60 / 40 from my personal nonscientific experience.

Big is nice to have, but more importantly to me is how I feel about the person I'm with. If I love the guy, then no size doesn't matter to me. I prefer a guy with a big heart of any size than a jerk with big package.

size matters to some, it does to me, not saying I am a size queen but I at least want 5 inches.
