I don't believe in the "curse" per se, I beleive that the player on the cover is usually someone coming off a great year. That means two things, they are naturally bound to come down to a certain degree and their focus is not as strong on football as it was previously. For example, popular players are asked to do things for charity, more interviews, endorsements and appear on the cover of a video game box. There are greater distractions so it may affect their play.

People that were on the cover of Madden- Eddie George, Marshall Faulk, Dante Culpepper, Michael Vick, Ray Lewis, Donovan McNabb all have had either injuries or have had a poor statistical year. The closest to breaking the curse was Ray Lewis but he had a bad year and his team missed the playoffs. I don't beilive in the curse and I do think Alexander will have a good year but remember this the losing team in the super bowl has missed the playoffs the last like 5 years or something so dont be surprised if Seattle misses the playoffs.

The odds are against Alexander. I have been a huge fan ever since he entered the league. He is one of the most underated rb's in the league. I hope he does not have a bad year.

I dont understand. it must be because of incontrovertible fact that alot of the conceal participant is coming off his terrific year in his top and be worn down yet that doesnt clarify the season ending injuries and the communities barley making or completly lacking the playoffs. i think of they could desire to positioned Madden returned on the conceal because of fact if this "accident" keeps going they wont be waiting to get everyone to do it.
