I am upgrading my laptop. Is there a way to transfer all of my Internet Explorer "favorites" from the old machine to the new machine? Thanks.

Sure, open the favorites folder and select all, copy. close the folder, insert floppy or flash drive, paste! Do the opposite on other laptop!

yes, Depending on which operating system you are using you can simply explore to the favorites folder and copy it all to a floppy or thumb drive and transfer to the new computer. Usually the favorites folder is located under c:\documents and settings\whatever username you are using\favorites.
Hope this helps

Do a search on the word "Favorites" You will find a folder by that name - make a copy to a flash drive or floppy and then reinstall it when you finish with the reinstall of Windows later

You can copy the whole folder into a thumbdrive or burn it to a cd, after that you can transfer to your new laptop.
The folder is in C:\Documents and Settings\...(Your user name)\Favourites

I'm sure there's an easier way, but I copy the links and email them to myself.

That way I have them, and if I have trouble later, they're stored ready to use again.
