I go through phases with going to the cinema. Depends whats on. Have seen Pirates of the Carribean 2 and Superman Returns recently. Have been trying to convince someone to come and see my Super ex girlfriend this week!

Thanks to Orange Wednesdays (and no I don't work for them and am not trying to plug them) we go every week. Although I'm dreading the day they just stop doing the two for one deal cos I'll probally have to cut down on my trashy film intake (i try and balance it by seeing an idependant or foriegn film one week and total trash the next!! It's great!)
So yes I do still go to the movies and if one films total rubbish I can see a better one (hopefully) the following week.
This wed I'm going to see My Super Ex Girlfriend - class!

i do! I'd miss the coughing, some one kicking the back of my seat, the prats talking, the mobile phone conversations, the moronic adverts, the expense... most of all I'd miss the really big screen with the amazing sound. You really don't get the same enjoyment out of a film on the small screen.

see your point. i download most of the stuff but the wife likes her night out at the movies now and again. i only go for the pop corn and the nachos

Well I do the downloading thing, but if theres a film I REALLY want to see, I will pay to go and see it.

Yea! Last weekend I went to the movies with my friends to see "Pirates of the Carribean 2"! It was good!

My husband and I go whenever we can. Some movies you have to see on the big screen to get the full effect.

I enjoy the atmosphere and socialisation of going out with my friends to the cinema. I think it's worth the money occasionally.

Yep. Better quality and u get to discover new movies. An yeh, IMAX, u dont have that at home!
