Well at the time your coming to Ohio I would bring some skirts and eve a couple pairs of light pants because at this time "sometimes" nights get cool. Maybe bring a light sweater or jacket. And sweety if your skirt doesnt show the cheeks of your butt your already more modest than most the hoochies here lol just wear your skirts between a cpl inches above the knee to mid calf. Have fun and you sound lovely I doubt if the people you stay with will think anything bad about you

the thing with that area of the country during that "transition" time between summer and autumn is that the weather can really surprise you. It could be 100 some days (especially THIS summer) during August...but during September, some days in the 50s could make it seem chilly. I should know, I'm from the midwest....a bit further north than that, but still....
So here's my point....you'll want to bring a little bit of everything. You don't need a sweater or heavy jacket, but jeans are probably going to be a decent idea during the later part of that trip at least...shorts/skirts are DEFINITELY recommended....some T-Shirts...and maybe a long sleeve or 2 for later. How's that?

There is a saying here in Cincinnati.... If you don't like the weather wait 10 mins. and it'll change. I've lived here all my life. For August and the beginning of Sept. you should still be safe with shorts and skirts it has been one very humid summer here, but I def. recommend some jeans as well esp. for Sept. you just never know. Have fun. Try to check out King's Island and Newport on the Levee while your here.

For what purpose are you coming - work, school, pleasure? That more than anything should determine your wardrobe. I don't know if it is a common custom in your country to wear shorts (I know that in many countries people usually do not wear shorts), but from August to early September here in Cincinnati it is very hot and most of the locals wear shorts - at least during leisure time (and to school for most children). There may be a few cool / rainy evenings for which pants or jeans might be ideal, but you will be quite warm if you don't bring cool clothes.

i'm here to travel. i'm in Mt. Healthy, r u goin to pass by? u should bring to wear clothes for warm and hot weather. shorts, tank tops, and maybe some capris and regular tees would be fine. skirts r fine too. where r u coming from? i'm from chicago, and compared to there, cincinnati is more peaceful and not so city like. the pp r nicer here. well, its not perfect but its better.
if u want to go sight seeing and/or have some fun, u can:
go on top of the Carew Tower
go to King's Island
Go to the Big Mac Bridge
Go shopping, just do wat u like!
hope this helps!

The weather in Cincinnatti this time of year is very hot and sometimes humid. Temps run in the 90's with high humidity. I would not suggest jeans either. Skirts I would say mid thigh to mid calf would be ok. The shorter the cooler though.
I would dress in light colored and light weight clothes becasue of the heat.

Shorts, skirts, capris, lightweight pants, short sleeve shirts. Skirt length-- whatever you feel most comfortable in. Comfortable shoes will be good. If you're going to be out at night a lot a light jacket (also good if it rains too) is nice. Afternoon sun can be bad (I had the sunburn to prove that back on Memorial Day weekend!) so have sunscreen on hand if you plan to be outside a lot.

You can wear whatever length of skirt you feel comfortable in. It's been hot here but it's cooling down some. It's a comfortable 80 something. You should be fine in a skirt, shorts, or capris, and a tshirt or tank top.

It is HOT and HUMID! I would brings shorts or knee length skirts and t-shirts, maybe a light sweater for some evenings. Cincinnati is pretty conservative and not very "hip" in the fashion world. Have fun!

Wear as little as possible without being offensive. And wear light fabric -- like the Dry-Fit stuff.
The heat can be oppressive in Cincinnati that time of year.
