If you are using IE Explorer click on the view menu then put the cursor on the TOOLBARS option. You will see a list of available toolbars click on the one that says "address bar". All toolbars that are selected will have a check by them.

Right click anywhere on the gray bar at the top of the window and select address bar. Can also click view then toolbars and then address bar and should show back up. If this is already clicked then suspect it may be shrinked down to non viewable size or spyware has removed it. Look for any small seperator lines that may be shielding it and try to expand. If these dont work scan the pc for spyware.
Hope this helps

Home page or browser window?

If the latter, right click > address bar if you're using IE.

Or

Right click > navigation toolbar if you're using Firefox.
