Nainital and its surrounding areas are beautiful. The Naini Tal itself is beautiful. I have done row boating in the Tal of my own with ducks chasing our boat!!
Earlier there used to be the units making / selling aroma candles, they all have disappeared now.

I really found nainital to be a beautiful place. The tram ride to the top and then to see the surroundings from the top of hills is beautiful. A really exotic place.
The only thing I did not like was the christian schools and the churches.
I am really surprised that even after independence, we seem to be very subdued in bringing our own culture and heritage out.
We still think it is better to educate our children in christian schools. What a pity.
But nainital is beautiful. I understand there is another place nearby called Ranibagh or Ranikhet which is even more beautiful.
