Yes I am very much the same too. Though I do have to fight the good fight when I see injustices being done and it has got me in deep shite over the years.

there are no comparisons for example you can be sad or bad and a optomist, personally my glass is always half full never half empty, and i would regard myself as never being indifferent to anything, everthing matters otherwise if it does not ,then why does it exsist.

I am not one of lifes optamists. Some times I am sad, some times I am bad. On occassions I am a really good girl. I usually have fun (or try to) in everything I do.

How about you?

I found out that a lot of people view me as an evil nutcase. I try not to be so sad when I think about my own life because I know for a fact that it will get better, but when I think about society and the world in general, I am definitely not an optimist.

Being a human being with emotions, I experience sadness, happiness, frustration etc as part of my life.

But I try to look on the brighter side of things - be optimistic.

Getting worked up over issues doesn't help solve the problem. But responding in a positive manner does.

In an attempt to give a Philosophical answer. Their are but 2 things that can make you sad or mad. 1 type is the type you have no control of and the 2nd type is one you can control. Control the ones you can and deal with the ones you can't. It is ones attitude that makes you happy or sad. And that you and only you control.

I maintain a level keel. My goal is to be the same everyday - smooth-running, practical, efficient, undisturbed, comfortable - so how do I deal with "surprises" that threaten to upset my boat?

Each "surprise" is different, but I try to stay calm and use my head. If you get too emotional you lose your ability to think clearly. If you are truly wracked with emotion (especially grief) then you should seek help and comfort from friends and neighbors.

Just a mixture of emotions.

I've found one of the most distressing/annoying things is the knowledge that the only thing 'holding me back' from being a good and wonderful person is my own self-doubt.

If I could flick a switch in my head and turn all that off it would be wonderful.

I'm always biter and twisted, but that is because life sucks. The only good thing is when you are doing the one thing you enjoy. I can't, because I'm stuck in a hospital with 3 drips in either F***ing arm.

As a Sagittarian I am an eternal optimist, it gets crushed every now and then, but always comes back.
