I am spending the summer in Jersey. I met a Polish guy at work. We have flirted loads while working and i have stayed at his house a few nights this week. Thing is the only time we kissed was when we ended up on the beach drunk, he doesnt try to kiss me in bed, he just cuddles me (which is really nice) but i'm confused. Is he just a really polite bloke who is taking time to get to know me (unlikely, as he is a man!!), does he just see me as a mate (why flirt only with me at work and not the other girlsand ask me to stay). There is a lot of sexual tension, i can feel that....long lingering looks and play fighting etc...it just isnt going anywhere.
The fact that he doesnt speak excellent english isnt helping either!
He isnt gay, i've checked that one out!

he is very confident in other aspects like dancing and flaring on a bar, he does seem shy about his body though-he doesnt like his stomach.
Oh and to clarify, we have slept in the bed together but havent had sex. x

This guy sounds like a genuinely shy guy. He kissed you while he was drunk, but when is sober he doesn't. Well, he obviously likes you as he flirts with you and has invited you to his more than once. Shy guys need to know that your not going to rush them into anything. Yes, it's normally the other way around i know. Let him know that he has no reason to be scared about that, because your not in any rush. Why don't you wait until the right moment, and then ask him or tell him to kiss you?
Give him a sign, help him out. He will appreciate it.
Good luck :)

There is the possiblity that this could just be convenient for him.. having someone that close, and maybe he doesn't think that there are any strings attached. He could just be a friendly guy who likes kiss his girl mate. It happens!
Really what you should do is talk to him. He may be Polish.. but he aint stupid (even for a man lol) If you find that the language barrier is too much... you have two choices. Dont go there, or try harder to get inside his head.
BE WARNED - getting into mens heads isn't always a good idea!!! You find stuff out that you dont wanna know!

He may be a bit young (around 20), thus not experienced and a bit shy. But as I am European and I've met already Polish guys, although not in these situations, I can tell you smth. Their culture is different from yours. Their are self-possessive and polite. I think you are in a good way. He is just taking his time to get to know you more.

I think he's being polite actually. If you're not understanding each other so well because of the language barrier, he probably doesn't want to get too deeply involved. Also you're not going to be there permenantly and he probably wants to avoid a long distance relationship.
Try learning some Polish, it might help.
Life can suck sometimes.

1. i would suggest he has no experience with woman, so he is in a way very shy to make something that he doenst really know... or he needs time to let somebody in his "private world", you know.
2. he is gay, but cant show that to his area.
3.he has somebody else...think about that
4. there was a girl before, she breaks his heart etc. so he needs time to heal the wounds
5. maybe you are blind...girl, or want you to have a lot of fun, even if you know each other one week????

Sounds like he's just a nice guy and wants to wait a while. It could be a cultural or a religious thing, just play it by ear and see where it goes. Not all men want to jump on your bones!
Good luck.

Maybe you are just too much in a hurry. Some guys move fast, while others like to take it slow. Just relax and see what happens. Time will tell all.

Maybe he is just trying to be a gentleman. Doesn't want to move to fast? Give the guy some time, nothing wrong with being shy! Just have to overcome it.
