some question are solved so easy but in fact they are much deeper and harder to deal with. if all questions could be solved so easily then we would not need science and wise people in society.
I think that many question here are not solved at all!

Questions are not "solved" - problems are "solved"

Questions are "answered" and every closed question usually has a number of answers.

You are talking about problems. It may take many questions to solve a particular problem. For complicated problems, there is no one question that will provide all the answers necessary to solve the problem.

I think Yahoo Answers is solving many problems because here you can look at a problem from different angles, ask different questions, and get a range of answers that point towards the solution.

For example, I think many people know a lot more about the Israeli-Hezbollah conflict because of Yahoo answers.

The professional news media only gives you a few specialized viewpoints, but in Yahoo Answers you can see hundreds of viewpoints.

Probably you're right, but it's important to try to solve our problems, or at least get a better understanding of why we have them.
I have a friend, though we're not really that close any more. It seems like she is some kind of magnet for disaster. She has been robbed 3 or 4 times, and other bad things happen to her regularly. Now that she quit drinking and smoking cigarettes, he life has improved quite a bit and she is more focused on what is important to her - her academic research. But still she is lonely. We are all lonely at different times in our lives, some of us pretty constantly, even though our lives are full and full of close people.
I don't know what happened to you other than a failed relationship, which has devastated you. If you have children from that relationship, please try to find a way to spend time with them, even if it requires talking to some in laws or others who can help you. I know it's really easy for me just to sit here and give advice. So you can ignore me if you want to, or maybe something I say can be helpful. I'm sorry you have experienced such tragedy and hardship.
You seem to be a very intelligent and caring person, and you probably deserve a lot more happiness than you are experiencing these days. Sometimes life's little or big challenges just make us stronger. You'll need that strength to help you in your life to come or to help others.

I agree--my personal questions haven't been "solved", in fact I have had few answers. But that's not the purpose of Answers, really. It's really more of a street cafe where people sit and watch the world go by.

Yes and no. If the askers choose the best answers, it is either that answers had solved the askers questions or that answers satisfy him/her but it not necessary solved the problems. If the questions are In Voting, the askers did not satisfied with all the answers.

I have asked questions, but have been forced to close them or pick a best answer because I could no longer extend the answering period. Those are the questions you usually see people asking more than once.

I think that it might help that person more than what they know but it will only really be solved if that person that posted the question is the one that does it on their own.

No not really. When I think about it, there are endless answers to a question or maybe its just because all the answers to a question support each other.

No. I posted a question two days ago. I did not get one response. Admittedly it was a specific legal question, and I did not expect to get a response. As much as it pains me to do so, I will have to call my attorney and pay him a fee.
