MAKE HIM LOOK BAD,MAYBE IF HE GETS ALITTLE OF HIS OWN MEDICINE, HE'LL STOP BEING AN A$$, THERE'S OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT CAN DO JUST AS WELL AS HE CAN, YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUT UP WITH HIS CRAP

Are you the "Boss"? Tell him how you feel with honesty. If you do not see an improvement shortly, give him a respectful warning. After that if he chooses to do as he pleases, fire him short and sweet! I believe that employees need some respect and guidance from an employer. If they do not know what the boss wants, how can they give them what they expect? Good Luck.

Pull a joke on him!
Let your local police arrest him for organised crime...
But you should arrange that, tell them it's his birthday and you wanna scare the pants off of him!! Then just never pay the "bail"!
See no need to fire him...

You have spoken to him, but have you given him a written warning? I would try that before firing him.
