In case Guna milapa (marks) are better and mangal doshas are not there, these are additional factors for one's mental satisfaction. But these cannot be taken as "a must" factor for deciding marriages because :
(i) There canbe some chances the time of birth is not recorded accurately either for boy or for girl
(ii) The astrologers are having their limitations and may not be able to analyse the horoscopes accurately due to various factors.
The complicated calculation involves the aspect that ofcourse a person is manglik but if such and such conditions are also there, mangal dosha ends or is ineffective.This "such and such conditions" - all astrologers donot understand.
(iii) Barring a very few percentage,most of the persons on earth marry without bothering these aspects. There is average rate of failures. There had been lot of instances where these alongwith other doshas were taken care of but marriages failed.
In case persons on both side agree, there is no problem. Seeking god's blessings, you should go ahead.

except for a small number, the entire world gets married without an astrologer. think about it.

Go ahead get married... Astrologers are not always right... just remember never to go back to them as they will always mould your past experiences to fit their predictions... so get married and stay away from astrologers

if you have a choice no. its all about beliefs. Dont take these things very seriously, treat them as pointers.
