I'm absolutely terrified of butterflies, moths, and flies. Even pictures of them make me feel nauseous. If one touches me I scream, cry, and will use an entire bar of soap cleaning myself, and still feel dirty and shudder every time I think of it.

This is a bit weird... I can't have cardboard touch my teeth. It freaks me out. My brother used to eat loo rolls, and that made me feel so ill, and the sensation of card on my teeth.... don't get me wrong, I wasn't eating card, just had this whitening chart that came with my toothpaste, and it touched my teeth and made me feel ill, and now I feel ill at the very prospect of it...

I have a phobia of a word that rhymes with joist and means wet. I can't have people say that to me either. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Lol, and my stupidest one, as if the others weren't bad enough, is that I'll wake up in the middle of the night and there will be a dead guy on my window looking in. My room is a loft extension, and I have the slopey window, so not sure how that would be possible, but I'm too scared to look at the window in the dark hours just in case.

yes - i have 3 weird phobias.

1) You know the heart rate monitor thingies they stick on your finger when you have your blood pressure taken - well they freak me out big time, make me go hot, sweaty and irritable - often feel like i am gonna pass out.

2) Shiny material, ie silk and other shiny materials make me cringe - i also cant touch un-glazed pottery... makes me feel funny just thinking about it!

3) I also pick up red rubber bands that the postman drops from the street whenever i see them - something bad will hapen if i dont!!!

Well,my husband can't stand bathtubs or ceramic tiles!
He showers standing bolt upright, right in the middle of the cubicle and carefully avoids brushing against the walls with either his hands or his back -which is quite a feat since he's very tall.
lt's really funny to see him!

I'm afraid of scarecrows, especially the ones people make for decoration in the fall. When I was little my neighbour made one and as I was looking over towards their place one day I saw it get up and walk around.

Not exactly a phobia but it turns my stomach if i catch my razor blade on one of my finger nails.
Sounds very weird i know.

Mine is the ice-lolly stick touching my mouth (the wooden one) and someone licking a tissue (you know like your granny would to wipe your face as a kid) or grinding a towel between their teeth ( I know no one really does that but it makes me feel all horrible inside just thinking about it)

nope, just the plain old claustrophobia... Used to love catching spiders, frogs, and lizards, along with the boys back when I was a kid; always wondered at the other girls what's the problem with those, and mice...
