Are you kidding me? You need to put Pete Rose in the hall before you put Big Mac. I'll say that about Sosa and Bonds as well. I mean what kind of message are we sending to our kids? It's okay to cheat? It's okay to get ahead? This is the problem in america today. I'm a high school teacher and many of kids think cheating is okay. That it's okay to step on whoever you have to step on to get ahead. If you send those three to the hall you're sending a message to future generations of america. You're telling them it's okay to hurt yourself and it's okay to hurt others to get ahead and if you do you'll be successful.
At least Pete Rose worked hard. He was a hustler. He was what america should be about DURING HIS CAREER. After his career is a different story. But you get in the hall because of your NATURAL talent and your ability to play the game of baseball. None of the three have done that.

Mark McGwire was a one dimensional ballplayer. All he did at a Hall of Fame level was hit home runs. That accomplishment is now suspect. So I would not vote for him to get in.
The sad part is that McGwire seemed to actually care about the game and seemed genuinely moved by the adulation he received. He took less money to stay with the Cardinals at a time when he could have been paid a king's ransom. There was a lot to like about McGwire, but I still could not vote for him for Hall of Fame.

Not a chance.
He never even denied using steroids during his congressional testimony. He just cried like a little girl and kept repeating how he "wasn't there to talk about the past".
He was a great hitter, but no way should he get in if his power wasn't even close to natural.
He's been in hiding since he retired - he should stay there...along with Sosa, Palmiero, Brady Anderson, Bret Boone and Barry Bonds.

No way. The Hall of Fame is for baseball heroes that played the game fairly, honestly and to the best of their ability. He, Bonds and others cheated the game by using Steriods. I would rather see "Shoeless Joe Jackson" get in on his merits. Read about him.

Never. Nor would I EVER vote crooks like Barry Bonds, Rafael Palmiero, or Jason Giambi in.

The Big Mac would make it into the sandwich hall of fame for sure.
As for McGwire, ehh, I dunno, since the whole 'roids thing, I doubt it.
