I'm only 30,so I haven't been there yet :-).But I do know that my aunt had the same question a couple of years ago.The doc. told her that a person can get pregnant up to 2yrs after complete menopause. So while going through it a woman should continue using protection, just in case.

It is possible that you could be pregnant, so see your doctor and get a checkup, because pregnancy at your age can be dangerous for you and a baby you may be carrying.

I would think you could fall pregnant, it may be unlikely but not impossible. Why not see your doctor and ask for some contraceptives, just in case.
