This is going to vary depending on the season. The more open you are to when to go and how you get there will allow you more choices. Sign up for Travelzoo. Do a search. When you get there say you want to be on their mailing list. They can have really great ideas. I'm sure there are other travel sites that you can check also. Have you put the question out on a search engine of the internet and reviewed what they are saying? What is a cheap ticket to you?

Try the discount airliners such as JET BLUE, they have great rates starting like at 99 one way, in most cases, or if u live in a city the jet blues doesnt flyin, try southwest, airtran, they have good rates with 7 day inadvance purchase

from what city? try southwest.com, jetblue.com and sidestep.com...that will cover all of your choices in airlines. Look at alternative dates...flying Tues and Wed is usually the cheapest.
