I would think that our first black president will probably be a male. I would vote for Condie Rice if she ran though. Whether black or female, I would hope that the first of either of these would attempt to be a good President.

Male - I would guess that Barack Obama has the best chance of getting elected, although probably not until 2010. Condeleza Rice has too much negative baggage at this point.
Obama is young, charismatic, and doesn't always follow the role of a liberal African American Democrat (although for party reasons he does follow his party's lead). Of course, its a long way till 2009 (when he'd have to make a serious push).
The one factor that may delay him is if a Democrat wins president in 2006, and ran for reelection in 2010. Right now flip a coin over who will win (even whether a Democrat or Republican will take the White House in 2 years).

Our first Black president is a male; NELSON MANDELA. The second is also male, the third might be female.
