Hopefully it will set off a trend and stop women spending a lot of money on hair extensions. What a Saint! It is so well timed, because it has just emerged that in poor countries like Russia (Siberia) women are given 50p-£2.50 for their beautiful long hair that they do not want to cut off but they have to, otherwise they won't be able to buy medicine. It is sickening that the likes of these celebrities pay around £1000 for hair extensions and these poor girls were only given £1 for their hair, which is the main ingredient in this stupid, ridiculous procedure. So I'm glad Posh's new hairstyle is such a big fuss at the moment. I have a very long hair (down to my bum) but I would hate to think I could ever be so desparate for money that I have to chop it off, I'd sooner die than get rid of my hair.

I think it's gorgeous.

Those extensions were starting to be old hat. Even that cheap bird from Celebrity Big Brother has her own nylon version of them.

VB looks really high class with them< You can bet the WAGS will copy soon enough.

I saw a shot of Jordan without her extensions a few months ago. She looked so much better, but they were back in within a few days. Hope VB stands her ground.

I don't think Posh should have had it cut that short, its a bit harsh on her face. I agree that its good that she had the tacky extensions taken out as the process that happens so they can get the hair is horrible. She should grow it a bit but otherwise good on you posh x

There was many pictures of her balding scalp so it was necessary for her to remove the extensions. I think its nice, and i had a bob cut before her so i can say I'm in fashion. not that i care but its still nice to know.

Wearing hair extensions for too long starts pulling your hair out so I bet she was told she needed to give herself a break. I wish she'd done it in a couple of weeks from now though because I'm getting my hair cut on Monday and now I'm going to look like a follower!

The picture I saw in the paper was a side view and I couldn't really tell, to be honest it just looked like someone had pulled out her extensions and left it - looked a bit rough to me

Hairdressers all over the country, (no world) must be rubbing their hands with glee! Jeez, it looks like it's been done by a blind man with a pair of secatours. I am stunned that she is seen as such an icon, it really does.

Rant over! Sorry!

She's an ugly cow anyway so I don't think it'll make much difference. A head transplant might do the trick.

due to the shape of her face, longer hair suited more than bob.
