Strange question. You can search the web and find many many sources.
Muslims both men and women have contributed greatly in all fields including medicine, science, astronomy and architecture as well - not to mention poetry.

In fact the Quran, which was revealed fourteen centuries ago, mentioned facts only recently discovered or proven by scientists.

I will take your question as a search for knowledge and not a biased question.

The unfortunate thing is that your question is informed by ignorance and bigotry in equal measure.

- Keep in mind that you live in the West where Western accomplishments are well known and Western civilization is currently the top dog in the world. Jews, as a vibrant member of western society, have not failed in recording their successes.

It is a curious phenomenon that whoever happens to be successful at the moment, their past in general and their successes in particular seem to shine very brightly. Over the course of history, the civilization on top always highlighted their own importance and accomplishments. When the West declines (it will happen, inevitably, as all civilizations rise and fall), the next guy on top (maybe it will be the Chinese, again?) will surely highlight the genius of their own people and dismiss others.

- Muslims created some of the most advanced cultures/civilizations, including the Caliphates and the Ottoman Empire. Europe at the time was backward in comparison. In contrast, what civilization did the Jews ever create?

- Don't make the mistake of projecting "current" situations into the past. Because Jews are successful today, don't assume that they've always been successful; or that because Muslims are today are portrayed as radical and extremist, that they've always been so. In fact, they have not. Muslims were more religiously tolerant than Christians during their cultural heyday. Jews were once considered bigoted, backward and unprogressive. Things change over time.

- What difference does it whether Jews are more successful than Muslims or vice-versa? What does that have to do with the current conflict in the Middle East? Does being "successful" justify inhumane or unjust behavior towards others? Of course not. We should judge actions based on their own merits. Whether someone is successful or not should not be a factor in judging ethical behavior.

- Why is it politically acceptable to denigrate all Muslims (which is implicit in the nature of your question), but abhorrent to speak ill of Jews in any way? Where's the fairness and justice here?

If you are jewish I would easily say you are not brilliant.
Thankfully many jewish people would not agree with your attitude.

It can not be a game of one upmanship, but consider this, do the 9600 palestinians currenlty held captive by israel have a chance at greatness, scientific acheivement, art or philosophy.

A lot of what we call civilised "western" behavior was adopted from "muslim" people

next time you eat, eat with your hands because the fork was a "muslim" invention, do it in public get food all over your hands.

A great deal of scientific and medical discoveries came from muslim people.

Many cultures have added to "western culture" as we affect other cultures.

religeous bigotry kills people
Amira, my wife is muslim, I am a non believer. People she grew up with suffered and died at the hands of a bigot peasant mentality.

Many of the countless brilliant jewish people you mentioned would be disgusted by your opinion.
